I met this young French couple at the Tucson show and found their designs fascinating- they actually macramed one as I watched! We chatted about their company, Living en Bermudas and their travels around the world to market them, as I admired their selection and chose some for greyhound embellishment.

The weaving is unique and beautiful- often sandwiched between two thin slabs of the same stone (see the bracelet image)! The necklaces vary in price according to how complicated the macrame design and, of course, the value of the sterling greyhound. There were more elaborate pieces that I coveted but just couldn't afford. :)

Each has little beads on the pull strings to adjust the length to which you'll wear it. The way they lay on one's neck is really lovely!

First Three Bermudas   Featured Item!

First Three Bermudas - Click For EnlargementI've left the image large so you can see the complicated macrame of each necklace, so skillfully woven.

The variety of jaspers feature, left to right, Mikie, Large Sized 8Ball, and Snoozer.

Hand Woven Rhodochrosite   Featured Item!

Hand Woven Rhodochrosite - Click For EnlargementThe macrame here is the most complicated in the collection- note how a tiny rhodochrosite bead is inserted in the design itself. This is also, the only piece that they had beaded and I just couldn't resist it!

Both of those factors, however, lifted the price to become out of line with the rest of the collection, so I have reduced it accordingly. Greyhounds will benefit a little, just not quite as much! :)

Price: $200.00

Second Three Bermudas   Featured Item!

Second Three Bermudas - Click For EnlargementAgain, its a large image so yo can see the intricacy of the macrame designs. This collection of jaspers, left to right, feature Flower Girl, Large Sized Dave, and gold colored (bronze) Brynn.

Shiny Pyrite   Featured Item!

Shiny Pyrite - Click For EnlargementThe construction, by Living En Bermudas, is the feature here. The stone is pyrite and is evenly hued. Pyrite is so beautifully reflective that glare & shadow just couldn't be avoided- don't let the photo suggest otherwise. Even Brynn casts a shadow!

I just had to include a side view so you could see how the stone is sliced in half and applied after the artful and innovative macrame was created.

Price: $130.00
